Together, we’ll workshop your works in progress, exploring character development, plot, pacing, and the emotional impact of your story. You’ll learn to recognize what’s working, understand where readers get lost, and turn feedback into concrete next steps. Reading and discussing your fellow writers’ work will help sharpen your eye for your own.

No story yet? No problem. We workshop outlines, too! You don’t need polished chapters — or a finished draft — to participate. If you’re still planning your novel, we can work through your story’s structure, character arcs, and missing pieces before you dive into drafting.

Come ready to share, read closely, and offer constructive feedback. The goal is to help you tell the story you want to tell with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

Turn your idea into a novel plan you can actually draft from!

Kick off the new year right by making a commitment to begin your writing journey! A novel idea can be exciting and still feel impossible to organize. You might know your characters, your world, a few big scenes, or even the ending — but still feel unsure how everything connects.

This live course helps you turn a loose story idea into a clear, flexible outline with direction, pressure, and emotional shape.

Together, we’ll build your novel step by step: premise, genre promise, protagonist arc, opposition, supporting cast, relationship arcs, structure, major turning points, and a beginning, middle, and ending that work together. You’ll learn how to find weak spots, strengthen causality, raise stakes, and design an ending that feels earned!

Not a strict plotter? No problem. This course is for plotters, pantsers, and plantsers. The goal is to give you a working map so you can draft with more clarity and confidence.

By the end of the course, you’ll have a complete novel outline package and drafting plan.
